Since 1994, chronographs have been a vital component of IWC Schaffhausen’s Pilot’s Watches collection. This Pilot’s Watch Chronograph showcases a stainless steel case measuring 43 millimeters in diameter, a black dial, and rhodium-plated hands. Its high-contrast dial, featuring large Arabic numerals and a triangle index marker at 12 o’clock, mimics the layout of an easily readable cockpit instrument. Luminescent elements ensure effortless time reading, even in low-light conditions or poor visibility. The IWC-manufactured 69385 caliber, a precise and sturdy chronograph movement with a classic column-wheel design, allows for the measurement of stop or aggregate times of up to 12 hours. Hour and minute displays are positioned at 9 o’clock and 12 o’clock, respectively, while a small seconds sub-dial with a red hand sits at 6 o’clock. The self-winding movement boasts a power reserve of 46 hours, visible through the sapphire glass back. Water-resistant up to 10 bar, the chronograph comes with a 5-link stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp. The integrated EasX-CHANGE® system facilitates easy strap changes without requiring additional tools.
