A few things to know
- This position is a full time position.
- We are looking for someone who has an appreciation for luxury jewellery and watches and is willing to learn and be proactive about learning about the various brands we carry.
- To some extent, experience does not matter. Knowledge can be learned if you are willing. What matters is your attitude and your willingness to learn as well as your ability to communicate with clients.
- Although we strive to have a fun workplace, discretion is key. Privacy is of utmost importance when it comes to our clients and we take this extremely seriously.
- Our staff are very loyal, we are a family at IJL. Many of our staff have been here for 10+ years, with one individual having worked here for over 50 years!
Some of the benefits
- Full-time at IJL means you get paid 40 hours a week, but only work 38 hours. You would be required to work 5 days a week.
- Retail work can have some odd hours, but not us! Our hours are simple: Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 5:45pm (45min lunch). We are closed on Sunday's. (Friday's you start at 9:00am). We are also closed long weekend Monday's.
- Parking is free! We are happy to provide a separate staff parking lot for all employees.
- We try to be fair and accommodating. We get that people want weekends, or at least 2 days off in a row. We strive to make sure that all the weekends off are shared amongst the staff.
