Tag Heuer timepieces date back to the 1860's when Edouard Heuer first began designing and building watches. A few notable achievements of Tag Heuer over the last 150 years are: creating the world's first mechanical stopwatch, the Mikrograph, accurate to 1/100th of a second (1916); developing the first water-resistant chronograph watches (1939); and was worn by astronaut John Glenn on the first U.S. manned orbital mission (1962).
Today Tag Heuer represents the ultimate in Swiss sport watches while offering a style of their own. There watches are robust, built to last, and are worn by some of the most famous people today.
Since the 1980's Independent Jewellers has been carrying Tag Heuer timepieces. Our full selection of Tag Heuer watches can be seen at our location at 493 Notre Dame Avenue.
