The world’s most recognized luxury watch brand, Rolex is relatively young compared to many of the luxury Swiss watch brands today. The name Rolex was first registered in 1908 by its founder, Hans Wildorf. Since then there have been only three other people in charge of the company: André J. Heiniger, his son Patrick Heiniger, and the now current CEO, Bruno Meier.
Rolex is unique in the watch world. They are a fully integrated company, making everything in-house right down to the lubrication that is used in their timepieces. They are privately owned and rely on over 4000 highly trained watchmakers to assemble each Rolex.
