Ernest Epp
I am the 2nd generation owner of Independent Jewellers in Winnipeg. I graduated from the U. of M. with a B.Comm(Hons) in 1970. I also graduated from the Gemological Institute of America with a Graduate Gemologist diploma in 1981, followed by the Certified Gemologist diploma from the American Gem Society. I am a past president of the Manitoba Jewellers Assoc. as well as the Canadian Jewellers Assoc. My 40+ years in the industry has given me a tremendous appreciation for the beauty that our industry represents through the gemstones and precious metals which we deal with every day. I love to share with people my experiences and knowledge which my avocation has provided for me.

I just wanted you to know my mother is your biggest fan. She always refers everyone in the family to your store and will not shop anywhere else and will actually give me heck if I do. Her name is Sophie Dyck and she has been going to the Notre Dame store as far back as I can remember. Her health is failing and can’t get out like she used to, however always says how well you have always treated her. Thank you it’s so nice to have such wonderful customer service.
